Professional skateboarder and RVCA Advocate, Curren Caples, has partnered with global lifestyle brand, RVCA to design his first signature collection for Fall 2016. The X-Games Gold and Silver medalist worked alongside RVCA’s design team to create a four-piece signature collection for Fall 2016.

"I’m really proud of what the RVCA design team has accomplished in collaborating with me on a signature line. We spent a lot of time on the fabrics, the fits and the styles themselves to ensure the product is not only something I would wear but also a collection which I would be proud to put my name to,” Caples said.

Taking inspiration from his everyday life and growing up in his hometown of Ventura, CA, the collection is comprised of skate staples. This includes a flannel, long sleeve hoodie, skinny fit chino and beanie, with a price range of $26 - $70. The apparel pieces feature 37.5® technology, a naturally derived technology that wicks away moisture and dries quickly for increased breathability and comfort during long skate sessions.

“I’m into a clean look and products that are easy to wear, skate in and that just fit my style. I’m really happy with the end result. I want to personally thank PM Tenore for bringing me to RVCA and giving me this opportunity,” Caples stated.

The collection launches alongside the Curren Caples Inspired By…video, which is part of RVCA’s global campaign, Inspired By… The campaign is reflective of how RVCA and the brand’s advocates are inspired and is portrayed through the Inspired By Series, a video storytelling platform on Each month three to four of the brand's advocates are featured in their own video sharing what inspires them.

“The way I am is definitely because of Ventura as in a surf/skate vibe,” Caples said. Even while traveling the world, Caples hometown is what has shaped him into an extremely talented skateboarder and surfer.
